Under the hood, Zrubix uses the HTML5 Canvas API to capture individual frames from your video at a specified frame rate. Each frame is rendered onto a canvas and encoded as a JPEG data URL. We then use the powerful `gifshot` library to stitch these frames together into a single animated GIF file. This process ensures high-quality output with smooth animation.
The quality slider controls the JPEG compression of individual frames, allowing you to balance file size and visual fidelity. The FPS slider determines how many frames are captured per second. A higher FPS results in smoother animation but a larger file size. Our defaults are carefully chosen to provide a good balance for most use cases.
